I made a deposit of three checks totaling $10,000 via mobile upload on 6-20-20 (Saturday). Per their policy, funds will be available on the second business day after receipt of mobile deposit. My account was overdrawn due to unforeseen circumstances from pandemic. Today (6-23-20) is second business day after deposit and just enough money was cleared for them to take their fees, leaving me with $6 in available funds. My recently deceased wife's accounts were recently closed, BY THE BANK. They said they could not tell me the reason or the balance without a $100 letter of authorization from the county. She died suddenly and intestate and I am next of kin. I know it is not a lot of $ involved, under $400 I estimate, but I also know my wife would not just want to give it to the bank. failed to give me my money back after filing a dispute against Expedia.com and that my flight got canceled cuz of covid 19. and simply said sorry we can't get you your money back.you are not protected using TCF Bank.
This bank is becoming a joke. They don't care about the customer wants or needs. There is no reason I should have to wait another 7 business days for my pin when I've already been waiting 14 days from the first time one of your reps said they will send it. Then on top of this..you want even send it 2 or 3 day. I think would have been fair since Huntington never sent it out 14 days ago when a Huntington rep said they would. Their service is so bad it’s almost laughable. People on the phones are brain dead & give you wrong information. They’re too incompetent to simply take payments over the phone or change the account my auto withdrawal comes out of. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING. They should not be trusted with anyone’s finances. It’s a shame our taxes go towards bailing out terrible banks that provide terrible service.

I have received 2 statement saying , This account is closed due to being inactive for over 90 days. I do not have a account with them and do not plan to. I called the 800 number and they wanted my personal information , I told them the only thing I would give them was the account number on the statement. The person told me they could not help me with out the other information.

I have had Huntington since moving to Columbus several years ago. I can honestly say that I have never had a single problem with them. I love their app, Bill Pay feature, and tools to manage my budget.
