Just a bit of nostalgia. I used to travel with my Dad every Tuesday and Wednesday during the summer. He was a truck driver and we stayed here every week. I have great memories and FYI the oval flower bed in the front used to be a pond with huge goldfish, 50+ years ago
My family and I stayed for 2 days. When we drove in what we thought was the main entrance, we realized that it actually wasn't and it was a room full of equipment and furniture. We asked for a first floor room because we had handicap issues and was told by the staff that they were all rented out to long-term users and the second floor was all they had available. It's the people that make the difference and they were the most helpful and nicest people we've ever met at a hotel motel!!!
Not surel why this place would have any negativity. The owners were awesome, the room was good, and the bed was comfy. Other than having my tire slashed by someone overnight, everything was grand! So $100 for the stay $150 for the tire. Thanks again Huntingdon Inn!!
