My sister passed away on May 15, 2024. My only regret is that she had to spend some of the final weeks of her life at Huntersville Rehabilitation Center. With the exception of one or two aids, my sister was treated with a lack of respect and care from the nursing team. She entered the facility with some bed sores so she would cry out due to the pain. The nursing staff are horrible. You would have to just see it. During this Covid19 they seem to be taking advantage of the fact we cannot visit family. The only way to see family is through the outside window and what I have seen is horrible. Let a patient lay in a dirty diaper for hours. Meals not coming until after 7:45 and then that was after the patients son reached out. Not enough information to the family. The list could go on. Reach out to me for more details. This place is terrible. My husband came home today dirty and full of bruises. He’s so skinny. They have really changed the way that they do business.
