Best darn Staff led by Sally ,Carlos and Rocky friendly ,respectful always willing to lend a hand and go out of the way to serve you. They make life a lot easier for residents and they have cool prizes .Kudos to Sally ,Carlos and Rocky.
As I was reading the reviews of this apartment complex I am kicking myself. Property shows nice as long as you don't see flaws. The flaws will end up in your apartment as they balanced my toliet with a nut and bolt. Yeah didn't hold. Stay away look else where. Horrible place would rather live in section 8 housing instead.
Nothing has changed. Would rather live in section 8 housing. Place isn't maintained and you have better odds winning the lottery then getting maintenance to fix something correctly even with the 'management changes' they have had over the years.
From first glance this complex seems pretty excellent. From the amenities to the friendly office staff it really does look like a great place to live. First hand advice... LOOK ELSEWHERE! Everything in this complex is outdated and requires constant maintenance. When you need something fixed expect to call the office multiple times, stop by in person multiple times, then sit back and wait for maintenance to finally show up. Hunters Ridge is a great place if you want none of your appliances to work or be fixed in your apartment. Since I have lived here I have had the washer and dryer break, hot water heater (several times) and AC (several times) break. Each time you have to babysit and micromanage the maintenance staff to replace and repair the units often taking an extremely long time frame to fix. a total waste of money – I have lived here for almost 2 years, and let me tell you its been a life time. i had a problem with a broken dishwasher rack that they fixed with a nut and bolt...not the correct pieces, that took 2 months for them to do. and they came in when i wasn't home and told them not to enter my apartment if i was not there, but i guess they just didn't care. when we had those nasty storms earlier this year water was poring in from the deck upstairs and came down through the wall and pored out from the slidi... read more
Office Personel and Maintenance are horrible – after waiting somewhere around 4 months for someone to fix our dishwasher, someone came while i was at the doctor..left a paper on my table saying they fixed it..they did not. i called several other times, they told me that they were to busy at that moment but would make a note and someone would get to it as soon as they could. 2 more weeks past and just after sending us a note that their buildings would be being inspected they finally came and replaced it. CRAPPY MAINTENENCE, GREEDY LANDLORDS – For the second time in a year I have raw sewage pouring into my apartment. Not only did it take management over 6 hours to get back to me, but they had the gall to say that the raw sewage was nothing but "Brown, smelly water that came from a toilet" . The manager called me a liar and a whiner. A quick call to the Elgin health officials not only confirmed that it was sewage, but also earned Hunter's Ridge another citation.
