I have left about 2 google reviews in my life and this is one of them. In my opinion, this peaceful, character-full, heritage-listed hotel, renovated by Ralph and his wife, represents the beautiful combination of rich history with tasteful modernisation which Queenstown is gradually achieving. The building and rooms themselves transport you back in time. The textured wallpaper and warm decor invite the imagination. Met Ralph the owner of this fine historic establishment. A very personable and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the "Travellers suite' with private bathroom across the hall. Bed super comfy, full amenities in room incl water kettle, tea coffee, creamer sugars and cookies/biscuits. A fireplace heater, plasma tv, robes and slippers. Un très bel hôtel dans un style ancien qui est rempli de charme tout comme cette ville. Chambre confortable avec tout le nécessaire Petit déjeuner complet et frais chaque matin Propriétaire disponible et qui rend le séjour le plus agréable possible. Sans hésiter je conseille de venir séjourner ici.
We had a wonderful stay! Not only was the accommodation clean, authentic and historical. The host is so much fun. Full of story and great advice for seeing the area. Thank you Ralph!
