I stayed overnight at this lovely little spot on a road trip heading east, and had such a wonderful time! Dinner at the restaurant was pretty average, but the servers were all very friendly and I enjoyed the views from my table by the window. My room was simple and cozy. Comfortable bed, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The bathroom was dated but clean. The highlight of my stay was soaking in the hot spring pool at sunset. I didn't stay here but we came here for dinner which was actually surprisingly decent. The restaurant decor is a mix of western and chic bar and the waitresses are friendly and cute. The restaurant offers the standard bar/restaurant food and I actually found the quality to be much better than anything else in the whole Lakeview area. If you stay at Lakeview you'd know food choices are extremely limited so I'm really glad this place exists and I've heard it's been recently updated. We stayed in the annex. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Room was cute, neat and clean. It was also very quiet. We enjoyed the hot spring very much. It is open to guests 24/7 so we were able to soak and look at the stars late into the evening. Only a couple of small suggestions..we could have used glasses in our room. There were a couple cute teacups but some taller glasses would have been nice. Also, from the annex you need to walk down a path to get to the hot spring. One-of-a- kind spot!! Staff was terrific, our room was really cute, bed was very comfortable. Amazingly great meals (kudos to the chefs) during VERY busy time. Building itself needs some TLC, which I gather is planned for this year. No negatives.
