We use Lakeview as stopover when traveling through. This region is is vast and vacant so a little forethought goes a long way. The hotels in Lakeview are thus overpriced for what they are. Neon Cowboy offers an actual experience at a fair price. We enjoyed the hot spring pool VERY MUCH, especially under the stars. The surrounding hot springs, ponds, and Perpetual Geyser make it truly special. The steakhouse offers a nice variety of handmade dishes. Their personal hotsprings awesome. Totally unlit so no light pollution touches the night sky in this hotsprings. Cleaned twice weekly... the staff made changes to our stay to suit needs and desires.. the restaurant bar is one of the nicest looking I've seen. Recreation area allowed me to read apart from the hustle bustle... sam Megan Michael Bill and otherwise very openly gave us grace.. id recommend this palace. I stayed on a Monday night after a long road trip. The staff were very helpful, and the room was comfy (the mattress felt like new!) The bar/restaurant was, frankly, exceptional - the manager, Megan, poured a great cocktail, the food was fantastic and we actually got to chat for a while. If you're traveling through Lakeview, don't stay downtown - head up to the Neon Cowboy!
We stayed here for one night on a multi-day road trip from CO to CA, via WY and ID. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and motels to say the least. At the Neon, we stayed in a Delux King room. The room was very clean, cozy, and well appointed. The bed and bedding super comfortable. Nice big clean and newly renovated room and bathroom. The staff are all incredibly friendly and accomodating.
