We showed up to Crystal River for the first time ever hoping to see some manatees but having no idea how to explore the area. We called around and chose this place because of their affordable prices and their desire to help us craft an experience out of our time here. We showed up and met Jamie who was super down to earth and got a kayak for the next few hours proceeding to have an amazing experience and got to see a manatee out and about.
Jamie was phenomenal in providing the information needed for a first time kayaking at Crystal River! The entire team/ staff were friendly, accommodating and even recommended a few local restaurants and areas to explore. Highly recommend and will be back soon!
My family and I had an absolutely amazing time! We got a 2 person tandem kyack that fit my husband, myself and my 2yr old. The process to get the kyack was a simple call with email confirmation and registration sent via email. When we arrived all the star were exceptionally helpful with giving us a run down on locations to swim and see different things. We saw manatees, dolphins, turtles, crabs and swam in the spring. Highly recommend
What a day. Dave was our guide and took us round, passing on information, answering our questions and making the trip special. We were a couple and 2 kids aged 16 and 18 and we were able to stop off and swim with the manatees, which was on my wifes bucket list, so a great day for all the family.
All around experience could have been much better. Kayaks were dirty, rough shape and seat bottom was missing in one of 3. After my spouse got tipped over by person helping us get in water, (he got soaked and all his stuff went everywhere) his strap holding up the back part of his seat which was barely in tact broke it ruined his experience. We had to switch boats and I had to use kayak with broken seat. I had already asked if we could switch one of Kayaks when we checked in and associate explained there were NO other Kayaks... read more
