Have been seeing Dr Mark Russo for the past 10 years due to a referral from a Melbourne colleague of his that installed my Nevero spinal stimulator. Time with him is short to the point I have always felt listened to and he has done everything in his powers to help me with my back issue. I would highly recommend .
I have been seeing Professor Marc Russo at the HPC on and off for 20 years! Professor Russo is an extraordinary specialist in his field and I highly recommend him! Professor Russo will go above and beyond to get you the realistic results you are looking for after a sports injury/illness/accident. Professor Russo and his team are world class specialists. I am a veteran and professor Russo has been my pain doctor for 20 years. I’ve never once questioned his decisions. He’s very diligent. And offers the best possible treatment.
STAY AWAY- To treat my severe back pain I was recommended pills- then In hopes of an alternative was offered a procedure - during the procedure dr Mcparland carelessly went too deep into my spine which ended up resulting in a cerebrospinal fluid leak - (brain fluid leak) once I awoke from general anaesthesia and told dr mcparland and the nurses at king st private I had a extreme headache and photosensitivity I was told to have Panadol and that it’s probably from the general anaesthetic.. fair enough, I laid In bed for the ne... read more
Would not recommend Dr Russo, very quickly looked though my case. I think he passed me off as soon as I listed my multiple chronic illnesses. He said I have low sensitivity to pain and referred me to his phycologist friend. I already see a Psychiatrist and therapist so not sure the point of that. 🫠He told me I need to stop eating sugar, go on a keto diet to loose weight. Not sure how this will help my pain as I’m not overweight? I told him I’m on the low fodmap diet for ibs and he proceeded to say I need to do more exercise... read more
