Receptionist Robyn has absolutely zero compassion and unable to provide assistance to patients or family members calling. Talking down to people on the phone is absolutely horrible and when asking if they’ve received an email being told no then going ‘when did you supposedly send it’ to them turn around and say oh we do have it well you won’t get an answer today you’ll hear from us when it’s decided.

I have been in contact with Hunter Heart since April 2023, and recall the receptionist being rude when I made my initial appointments. I've had to contact the practice 18 months after my procedure and still haven't received a follow up to be told if the procedure was successful or not. I was again greeted by the abrupt and rude receptionist Robin, to which I remembered her voice as soon as she had answered. Dr Jackson was a pleasure to deal with, however it is my opinion that a new receptionist should be considered.

I attended the clinic in October 2023, was sent for an ultrasound of my heart in November 2023. It's currently May 2024 and I have not heard back from anyone. I called the clinic today to be told (by the very cold receptionist) that unless the scan showed something interesting the Dr does not contact the patient at all, that's pretty poor practice. I still don't have my results because "The system was down".

We were saddened not to meet Dr Jackson himself. But following a rude, abrupt, unprofessional call from his receptionist, which made my husband become more unwell, decided to see another Specialist.
