My wife and I purchased 35 Hunter Douglass shades and blinds when we moved into our new house in 2018. 14 are motorized and some have had operating issues almost from day one. Customer service was usually helpful, until the motorized units went out of warranty. Since last spring one in the master bathroom stopped working again. "Hunter Douglas Shades" Hunter Douglas doesn't understand the word shade. Hunter Douglas apparently can't tell the difference between shade and shady. What follows is my story of being sold shades that turned into shady. My wife liked the looks of the Hunter Douglas shades and that is why we bought six of their battery powered roller shades in 2017 to cover two large sliding doors. Amazing place, I really love the blind work.
Excellent worldwide manufacturer of curtains, but be careful when hiring a good dealer. An excellent product that is poorly specified and installed poorly results in a bad experience. I am a reseller in Minas Gerais, Brazil and I am very satisfied with the service and quality of the products.
