My son was seen through the nurse practitioner pathway at the Carrington clinic and we had an excellent experience. Thank you to nurse Laura who took the time to listen to us and put the follow up plan into action straight away. I would highly recommend this service.
Love being able to have my kids paediatrician and specialists/therapies all in one place. We are always greeted with such warmth from everyone and feel so welcome. My kids actually love going to their sessions now.
When my son’s condition didn’t change after several of courses of medication from our family doctor I asked if we could be referred to a Paediatrician as they are more familiar with child illnesses etc so we were referred to Dr Anderson at Hunter Children’s Clinic only to sit on a waitlist for two months and then get a call to say all of his appointments are Telecalls as he is based in Sydney and it will be $600!!!! My son and I have always felt welcome at both clinic locations from the moment we walk through the door to reception.. Dr Parry has always included my son in conversations about his care and always connects with him on a personal level, even googling my sons interests in the session to engage firther. He is always thorough in his explanations of treatments and medications, what his recommendations are and why. If there are any issues between appointments, it is easy to schedule a phone consult. Proficient and professional clinical staff, pathetic customer care and office procedures. Just try to make an appointment, you’ll understand quickly. Honestly, do better. The hard part is not the books and phones.
