Dr. Gary Brooks has been our vet for 22 years -- six dogs and numerous cats. He is simply the best. Not only is he a brilliant detective as diagnostician and a skilled surgeon, he has cared about everyone of our pets -- and us. He has gone so far above and beyond normal care, we can never repay him. He's let us call him on weekends and his days off when a pet was sick. They don't care about your pet. – I've been coming here for years... I had 2 take my 7yr old dog here bc he was dripping urine & had a hard time going 2 the bathroom. Took my pet here & found out there were stones lodged n his penal cavity. They had 2 take an x-ray & figured out it was 4 sm stones. They didn't even show me the x-ray, I had 2 ask 2 see if before the vet showed me the x-ray. They had 2 make an incision from the bottom of his penis 2 the front of his testicles. Dr. Alan Frank is very nice, knowledgeable, and caring. – My puppy got diagnosed with liver shunt. I spent hours looking to find good surgeons within 3 to 4 hours distance from Northern Virginia. I came across Hunt Valley Animal Hospital. I called the hospital. When I asked about liver shunt surgery, the staff was nice and changed me directly to Dr. Frank. Excellant Services and Kind Staff – This hospital has the most knowledgable vets and the most caring and compassionate staff. They will go to great lengths to care for your pets. My experience through difficult times was made easier knowing that the Dr. Alan Frank was up to date with every treatment. I can't thank them enough and I would highly reccommend their services to all animal lovers!!!!!
Dr. Frank did a great job – I took my newly adopted gecko there because he came to me with shedding problems. Dr. Frank helped fix all that and didn't charge me a fortune. I cannot comment on any other aspect of this hospital or the other vets there.
