We stayed at Hunt Castle to celebrate the marriage of two really good friends of ours. The Castle was HUGE and easy to get lost in, but that meant lots of bedrooms and room for guests. We had a fairly large group of folks (15-20 ppl), and we were very comfortable. We had full access to the kitchen and could make meals for the group and it was a unique and beautiful backdrop to a fun weekend! This is an 11,000 sq. foot Homeaway rental. I was there for a function hosted by the owners, John and Linda Hunt. If you live caslesand if you're looking for a place to rent in the Monadnock region to hold a gathering that can sleep many people (22), this would be a great choice. There's a reservoir on the property for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking, an 18-hole Frisbee Gold course (that I've played on in the past) and plenty of places to explore, both inside and out.
