This is not the best place to live. I have a job that is normal business hours. The apartment manager does not, she comes and goes as she pleases and makes it difficult to discuss repairs, pay rent or even pick up packages that were placed there. This is an old apartment complex that needs a lot of repairs; these can take several days to be done or not at all. The Hunnington Townhomes could be a great place to live. The problem is the Mgr and Maint. The mgr is NEVER available. Shes never in the office or available by phone. Maintenance rigs everything they touch. The mgr seriously needs to retire. The pool has been full of algae the last two weekends. It was opened with a note about leaving your swimsuit in the sun and washing it before returning to the pool so you dont bring algae back into the pool. Really? The Hunnington is a nice quiet place to reside. The Manager has been there many years. Most residents report they thoroughly enjoyed living at The Hunnington. Many past residents have returned at later dates to reside at the Hunnington again! The maintenance is very reliable, and gets repairs fixed as soon as possible. Everyone will probably agree that occasionaly there, fortunately, not very often, will be someone that cannot be pleased, because they are, perhaps, unhappy with their lives.
I have lived here for almost 2 years and I can tell you things dont get fixed here...And they are so poorly insulated that the electric bills are through the roof...I have to keep a towel in front of my doors just to keep some of the draft out, and they are supposed to change the filters but I have been changing my own because they dont come around and "when" they do they are rude and who wants to open the door to that? So the rent may be cheaper then a lot of other places but rest to sure your going to make up for it in you... read more
Decent. my first apt, so I really have nothing to compare it to though......
Lived there about two years ago for about 8 months and it was a decent place. It was hard to get things fixed but overall, I would live in the apartments again
