As good as it was in the original location on Hampden. The Pork Ribs and the catfish are my favorites and the Peach Cobbler is excellent for dessert. Service is fast and friendly. The space is small, but nice. Parking can be an issue at times.

Decided to try something new. Found this little gem on Google maps and decided to give it a try. At a glance, it looks like a new family owned restaurant, but after talking with the staff, I believe they relocated and downsized. Some of the decor doesn't match, so it's hard to know what's their theme. Jody was our waitress, super friendly, and a real joy to speak to. I normally order a fillet fish dinner, which I did and it was good. But thought I would try the black eyed peas, they had no seasoning or meat in them for the price as a side order tasted like they just came out of a can, I also order there beef ribs for the first time and they barely had no meat on them and was very oily. I'm so disappointed to have experience this in a Black owned business.

I had high hopes for this place because I had eaten here in the past at their original location and it was always good. This time however I have never regretted a decision more! I ordered the brisket sandwich and not only was the portion as small as it gets, but the meat was super dry and weirdly enough, it had a fishy taste to it.
