2/3 meals were great. Waitress and owner were nice.
My experience at this restaurant was a bit disappointing. We may have arrived close to closing time, and the waitress made sure to let us know the kitchen was about to shut down. While I understand the timing, the interaction felt a bit unwelcoming, as if our decision to still place an order wasn’t appreciated. The food itself was okay, but the portion of the sides seemed noticeably small, which added to the overall impression. It’s possible the timing played a role, but it still impacted our experience. Awesome little Midwestern restaurant. Great burgers. Terrific coffee, great cherry pie and excellent service. Visiting from Florida with family from Kazakhstan!!!
