This was a fantastic stay, quiet location which felt very private, very accommodating hosts who were there to help if needed but very respectful of space. We unexpectedly got upgraded to Gumnut room which was just lovely. No WiFi in rooms and limited TV which was great to switch off from the world. Close to lots of fantastic areas. Would absolutely recommend, and hopefully can come back ourselves one day!
We loved our stay at Hunchy Hideaway! It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Truly great service and the owners were so lovely. Highly recommend :)
We had an amazing time. The accommodation was 10/10 with everything you need in the cabins. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore some of the Sunshine Cost Hinterland.
My husband and I recently spent a week here. This place is absolutely beautiful, and I would recommend to anyone wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Very cozy and private. The owners are wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable, and they also stock the fridge with milk, eggs, butter, bacon and yoghurts. Hidden at the base of Montville in the quiet country town of Huchy and neatly nessled in the bushland you will find this hideaway where you can fully disconnect from your normal day to day life to relax and recoup, re charge your batteries and reconnect with your special someone.
