We absolutely loved our stay at Hunchy Hideaway! We stayed a very comfortable 3 nights in the Jasmine rainforest cottage. I enjoyed no phone or internet at the property, but might be hard for some. We were surprised to arrive to very thoughtful supplies to last our stay, bread, eggs, bacon, nespresso coffee, milk, yoghurt. We loved the deck, especially of an afternoon, being surrounded by the rainforest, the birds, wildlife and sunset were beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing, it felt like we were the only ones there! Place says wifi on the premises yet there is barely anything at the reception and absolutely no reception in the cottages. Your phones are useless so don’t bother bringing them. Couldnt bother to upgrade to a bluray player and has one of the worst selections of movies available considering thats all there is besides free to air TV. The bath was a nice size and water temp but got violently sick for days afterwards. My husband and I stayed in the Fig Tree Cottage for the weekend to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We had a lovely stay, we enjoyed the beautiful cottage and the lovely breakfast provided allowed us to cook our own brekky whenever we were ready and we enjoyed our coffee from the coffee machine in the kitchen. We look forward to returning to this cottage again in the future it was such a relaxing weekend away. It was the reset we really needed.
