Not quite the Hunan Pearl of 9 years ago, or Canyon Pearl for that matter. Food was good, but I won't go out of my way for it again.
I am a Taiwanese and Hunan Pearl used to be my to go place for Chinese food but not anymore. The dishes we ordered last night taste like Americanized Chinese food to me. The Pork and Chicken in both dishes were cut too large and tough to eat ( lazy chief). I believe Panda Express has better food than Hunan Pearl after last night’s experience. I will have to find somewhere else to go for my Chinese food.
