After my father's passing we all decided to go together as a family one more time so my mother decided to book with "Hummingbird Cabins"... Worst mistake EVER! We have always gotten great cabins before but this one was the worst! There were cobwebs and even dirt and leaves on the beds!? And we pay $200 for cleaning!? Get outta here!! My kids were so heart broken and my mother couldn't believe it! Shame! Only gave 2 ⭐ for the animals
We stayed at the Happy Bears Cabin near Grindstone Lake and loved our stay so much! The deer were right outside the cabin in the mornings with friendly neighbors. Everything was clean and house had all you could need. Will stay again!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Ruidoso Retreat through Hummingbird Cabins! First I would like to praise Hummingbird cabins because extremely attentive, considerate and helpful, especially with weather precautions, keeping us informed and making sure we felt safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. Offering early and late check out to make sure we were safe and would enjoy our stay made the whole trip. We had a really great experience staying over Christmas break at Kizzy Kove. The cabin itself was in great condition and everything in working order. Our fireplace pilot wasn't lit when we first got there, but they came out immediately and got it going. This was a great location conveniently close to midtown and all the activities going on for the holiday. Unfortunately, we had an emergency and had to leave early, but we highly recommend this cabin and rental company. Thanks so much for the memories!
We stayed in Retreat Ruiodoso with a total of about 25 people (including some babies). It was stunning, clean and had many amenities. The owners graciously allowed us to have our small wedding there and it was beautiful. The owners were kind, understanding and very helpful. The bang for your buck was well worth it. We stayed 3 nights and the kids were never bored due to the amenities. The hot tubs were clean and conveniently located in each cabin (2 bungalows per hot tub) and the pool was very large and very well maintained.... read more
