Our planned 95th birthday celebration for my mom was to be at the Little Bear Lodge. We would be a party of 12 - 8 adults and 4 children between the ages of 4-12. We chose this home because it was the one we found that would provide a bed for everyone comfortably, mates could sleep with mates, children that needed to could sleep in parents room. Our stay at Hummingbird Cabins was disappointing and did not meet the expectations set by the listing or the price paid. Upon arrival, the cabin was not properly prepared for guests. We found bedding left in bathtubs, neglected areas throughout the property, and a downstairs bedroom with such a strong dog urine odor that the room was effectively uninhabitable. Our stay at Hummingbird Cabins was extremely disappointing and did not meet the expectations set by the listing. Upon arrival, it was obvious the property had not been properly cleaned. Bedding from previous guests was thrown into the bathtubs, and several areas of the cabin appeared neglected. One of the downstairs bedrooms had a strong dog urine odor that made the room very unpleasant to use. The sleeping arrangements were also inaccurate for our group size. We've stayed with HBC properties on two occasions now and each time we've had a wonderful experience. They have been extremely accommodating with any requests or questions. Any issues we've had were addressed and resolved quickly. Both properties were in great condition for being mountain town vacation rentals. Locations are always great. Will continue to use them when looking to book cabins!
