Hummingbird Assisted Living is a large family home. Over the 11months my husband was there, I was welcomed as a family member by the staff, owners, and residents. My husband, one of 10 residents, was lovingly cared for even as his condition followed a natural progression of decline. Everyone was over the top wonderful, and I cannot imagine any place else that could have done a better job, for he and for me. A big hug of gratitude for all who helped us through one of life’s toughest journeys.
My grandmother was fortunate enough to reside at Hummingbird Assisted Living, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her. The staff were incredibly friendly, supportive, and genuinely caring. Both the caregivers and hospice nurses took excellent care of her during her time there. What gave me the most peace of mind was knowing she was in trustworthy and compassionate hands. Five stars isn't enough for hummingbird and the staff ! We had a flood in our home and of course it was a Friday night after 5:00 but Chris saved the day! I was able to take my mom right away and they were so friendly and welcoming that my mom felt so comfortable there and was cared for as she needed to be! I can't thank EVERYONE eggnog for coming through on such short notice! I’m sure Lexi from High Desert knows that this place is amazing as she was explaining to my 83 year old mother with cancer and dementia. We/she is so looking forward to a break, and who couldn’t ask for a better place for her. Thanks to all who have written great reviews about a fantastic care facility as well as the owner who orchestrates this type of care.
