We only sell Architectural Grade Soapstone Countertops. We fabricate and install in the Chicagoland area and Midwest United States. We measure for the countertops by making precise templates to bring back to cut the soapstone slabs in our shop. We also sell Soapstone sinks, tile and mineral oil.

If you want soapstone DO NOT go anywhere else than Hummingbird. After two local fabricators (I’m in Valparaiso, IN) lost my trust (one tried to sell me slate masquerading as soapstone the other was so unknowledgable and said soapstone stains and I must seal it - WRONG) I found Angela and Hummingbird. I cannot say enough how THRILLED I am with my counters, sink & backsplash. Don't waste your time with these people. They don't wish to work with one not in there area, not a ground floor kitchen. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME - Please just close!

Humming Bird Soapstone was great, start to finish!! Very communicative, helpful, easy to work with from the first communication until we said good bye. Fast response time. But the best part...we LOVE our new soapstone kitchen counters and sink. They are beautiful! We have had them now for a couple months and could not be happier. All around, great experience!
I love my kitchen cabinets. The Soapstone is awesome. Hummingbird put a great design together and, utilized the space effectively. Thank You.
