While I liked Dr. Hummer, her office staff & their policies are ridiculous. Dr. Hummer suggested I try a wireless glucose monitor, which is pretty expensive. My insurance company requested a preauthorization, which would have saved me $200. I left two messages, without a call back, and only got a call back when I emailed the Mercy Business Office. The nurse who called was rude and said they would not send a preauthorization, and if I wanted the wireless system, I could pay for it. I refuse to pay for this kind of service, an... read more
