DO NOT go to Dr. Edgerley if you have any MCAS symptoms. I saw another review here regarding this doctor being dismissive and unfortunately I had the same experience. Even though I was experiencing dermatological and GI issues, I was not given any medications or help regarding these symptoms. Dr. Hummel has restored my hope in doctors. Took his time plus some to explain things we needed clarified. He ensured that we understood and gave us several options on how to help our child. I highly recommend him.
Unfortunately, our experience with this clinic was very disappointing. Our child had a confirmed appointment June 2025 and March 2024 through the SickKids referral system, yet we were told there was no record of it and the appointment was cancelled the same day without notice. We were also not informed in advance that the doctor was on leave. Communication from the office was poor and inconsistent, which led to unnecessary stress and delays. Dr Edgerley is the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. Repeatedly interrupted and spoke over me, did not listen to any of my concerns or answer questions, or even allow me to list my symptoms, and left me completely untrusting of anything she had to say. Complete waste of time. Now I have to start all over again with someone I can actually trust, because I have zero confidence in someone with zero professionalism.
