Bought our unit 3 yrs ago. It took me a while to install (not because of them, totally because I had too many other projects). However, when I installed it, they provided excellent service and advice to get the unit operating properly. I didn't like the red light on the control panel because I had the control panel in the bedroom. So, they reprogrammed the Arduino control unit so the light is normally off during normal operation. Bought this product over three years ago. Transformational in a very dry climate. I live in the mountains of CO. The product has worked from day one. And everyone in the house gets less winter respiratory issues and is just generally more comfortable. You do have to maintain the product as described in the manuals. Amounts to weekly addition of some bleach to water. And the main maintenance of sterilight and water filter takes about 20 minutes. So 40 minutes a year. I have had the hardest time getting customer service from Humidifall and given that nobody local is familiar with their product, I have no where to turn. We've spent $7k on a our unit in addition to what it adds to our water and electricity bills and in addition to the annual light bulb replacement and quarterly filters. As of late, I found black mold near the drain and the reservoir looks far from 'sanitary' which makes me doubt it's actually cleaning my air.
