I see a comment from (kiyomi V) which says the lake is only for the Christian community, but let me tell you that is FALSE , I've been visiting Hume lake for years during the summer with my own Kayak or floaties and I am NOT a member so yeah you can take your own stuff and enjoy this beautiful lake and yes there is a Christian community there, it's a summer camp , very respectful kids
