Hume House was a perfect stay for my family recently. It is such a quaint, well-kept, beautiful country home that is close to Mt. Buller. The house is beautifully set in Merrijig with a serene backyard, and it's only a short drive up the mountain to the Mt. Buller ski resort. The amenities are well thought out, including a little steel campfire kit that you can set up and overlook the creek out back. Many fond memories were created for the kids at this house, and we look forward to returning again sometime soon. Amazing stay... read more

Hume house is a must 22 km to Mt bulla 15 minutes back to Mansfield ,Each room is spacious heated, Brilliant spa in main with massive walk in wardrobe, Very well appointed kitchen perfect lounge dinning with remote electric fire place 0 out side in early August 2024 but toasty warm in side concrete driveway to front door with one level throughout ensuite and separate bathroom shower and toilet outdoor fire bbq nothing but scenic views outside 2hrs 40min Drive from Melbourne airport a beautiful country drive in all directions... read more
Hume House Merrijig is a wonderful place to stay in close proximity to Mt Buller. The house is very well appointed with everything you might need, is lovely and warm and cosy and backs on to a beautiful creek. Tania, your host, is incredibly accommodating and helped us with local recommendations and everything else we needed for our stay. Our dog also a lovely time in the open area.
