Over the past 30 years of being a VA patient, I have had the opportunity to see many different facilities and staff members, and I can say with confidence that the Team at the Kingwood VA Center stands out. They are consistently patient, thoughtful, and compassionate in the way they approach care. Good luck having them answer the phone. Always usually put on hold 30 minutes or more. They are really busy?

All my appointments get canceled at this location. Every time I contact this clinic I am given excuses as to why I cannot be seen. Always rudely told they are not accepting any appointments. Apparently this is an issue among many. I live close to this facility yet have to drive out to conroe or downtown Houston because of the lack of service provided here. This place should hire more staff, relocate or shut down completely. The funds wasted here could be sent to another more deserving facility that actually helps veterans mo... read more
