TERRIBLE!!! This insurance should be the best of the best for our nation’s military members and their families. Instead, it’s just another for-profit insurance company like any other, lining the pockets of the top execs at the expense of regular working people. They deny referrals and avoid paying any chance they get. It’s always a headache dealing with them. But today takes the cake. Over two years ago our son briefly lost a eligibility because of a mistake at DEERS. The issue was discovered and quickly resolved by DEERS, who backdated everything to his date of birth. Ever since then, Humana-Military has allowed its agents to claim that our son remained ineligible. In attempting to resolve the issue, they claimed that we were violating a slew of regulations. Every referall they give me ends up with a healcare group that doesnt accept the referall. Ive had to call humana back 5 seperate times to change a referall because the clinic they referred me to was either for children, not accepting new patients, was not accepting, tricare, was in the wrong location etc.
