I filled a complaint with he Alberta Human Rights Commission 2.5 years ago. I was initially advised that there was a backlog, but my complaint would be assigned to an investigator. I waited patiently while seeking advice from 4 different lawyers before settling with one. Then unexpectedly, through counsel, I learned my matter would be sent to the Director for a decision.
