Very nice staff, timely service but very expensive for tax prep.
What an excellent experience. We used the Westminster office. As a new client I very much appreciated that the tax preparer walked through my documents with me there in the office and inputted my information while I was there vs. dropping off documents and then relying on emails or calls to get questions answered. Rae was pleasant and efficient. Completed my returns while I was there and shared the results along with the next steps. I dropped my business and personal taxes off 2nd week in April. Just got them back 6/30/25! As the last year my paperwork was scattered had to wait for them to find it. An important paper I needed filled out wasn’t in my paperwork! I paid last year $3500.00 and this year $4515.00 this year! I called to ask a few times when will I get my taxes back. Used them for years when they were known as Hull's, and was very happy. But after their president Tom retired, the quality went downhill fast. Poor communication, and answers provided were proven wrong later.
A waste of time and money. Went for retirement questions. The person who was supposed to meet with us at our appointment was busy with a more important client, so another person met with us. They were nice but not very familiar with our questions since they dealt with business accounts. They basically googled our topics and read what we had already found online. We came away with none of our questions answered definitively. Charged us for the time we spent waiting for them in the lobby.
