After my child wanted to try contacts and was turned away at Lenscrafters (after we paid for contact exam and fitting fee & left w/ no contacts not even the script) we felt defeated. Then I remembered the first time I tried contacts (30+yrs ago). I remembered going to Dr Hulen's across from the library. I remember he never gave up on me getting the contacts on my eyes. Dr. Hulen is fantastic. Very family friendly. Standard check ups are quick and easy. He's happy to help you work with your insurance and tries really hard to get you a good discount if your insurance won't pay for new frames. For a small place he's got great selection. If you're looking for a family eye doctor skip the big stores this place is way better.
