Update 6/16/25: It’s official, this gem of a restaurant is gone, and guess who took over? Sheldon Simeon. Don’t get me wrong, his food is good but it was nice to have a different style and on top of that the original restaurant was affordable. I have no doubt prices will be set accordingly, especially with Sheldon’s name attached to the establishment. The historic Wailuku Inn is a Maui treasure! The ambiance is sophisticated and true to old Hawaii. The food was elevated and completely memorable. Stay the night or just for a meal, but do experience it for yourself!
The Inn is my favorite place to stay on Maui. My last visit, the restaurant hadn’t yet opened. SO excited by the delicious and beautiful food coming out of Chef Justin’s kitchen.
The food is really good and is even better when it’s enjoyed in such a beautiful setting.
What a gem! This place was terrific! Nestled in a tropical garden landscape, the Hui Kitchen is part of the historic Old Wailuku Inn (B&B). The food was delicious and my daughter and I so enjoyed dining outside in the garden. The inside is super nice and comfortable too. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
