I didn't even make it past the office staff. I scheduled and appointment for 3:30pm in the afternoon.The receptionist told me several times that the credit card machine was broke so bring cash or check. The day of the appointment I called immediately first thing at 9am to cancel due to the condition looking better and my sitter canceling to care for my autistic son. NEVER. Didn't make past the receptionist. Had to cancel my appointment, the receptionist said there was a fee then got nasty with me and hung up on me when I questioned it. I was a new patient, they did not inform me of this when I scheduled. They were sure to tell me the credit card machine was broke and to bring cash several times. So now they are billing me $45.00 to be treated like a piece of dirt. NOT PAYING! I'm a special needs mom and have circumstances beyond my control.
This was my first experience with Dr. Huhn or should I say with his waiting room since I never actually got beyond that point! After waiting one hour beyond the scheduled appointment, I reminded the receptionist that my appointment was an hour ago and she informed me that Dr. Hunh was running behind (no duh) and that there was still one patient ahead of me. I relayed how disgusted I was about the poor scheduling and let the office!
This office does not know how to properly schedule appointments. Every time I go, I get there early, and there are typically 4 to 6 people ahead of me who haven't been seen yet. This means you will likely wait to be seen 45 minutes to an hour after your appointed time. I have not had this problem with other doctors in this area. To make matters worse the staff, rather than trying to do something about it, got defensive and insolent about it to me, as though it's _my_ problem. Dr. Huhn is one of the best Doctors in his field. My former allergist recommended him. The staff is nice; the offices are clean; and Doctor Huhn dianosed my problem immediately, and recommended prescriptions to take. Overall, the office visits were very positive. I would recommend him to those who need a Dermatologist.
