Great food!
The food was okay, but not worth the $60 my friend paid for two meals. The waitress refused to accept the previously purchased Groupon my friend had confirmed with the person at Hugo’s she made reservations with over the phone. She said it was for a different time of day. The restaurant had a record of the Groupon that was purchased and made a reservation for my friend at a time of that day the Groupon could not be used. Great food!
I ordered the Hugo's burger, with coffee to drink, and the crab cakes as an appetizer. First off, it took about 15 minutes for our server to bring the coffee. This normally wouldn't bother me so much as we were their first customers of the day and you would assume they were brewing some fresh coffee. However, she brought us the coffee in a French press and told us it had been in there for about 2 minutes and would need another 5 minutes.
