Dr. Yamada is fantastic and was really aggressive and thorough with my treatment because of it's urgency. My biggest issue with this practice is how IMPOSSIBLE it is to get ahold of literally anyone. I know medical offices are busy, 100% understandable, but any other facility I try and get ahold of I have no real issue, sometimes a small wait but that's about it. Simply put a horribly mismanaged office, from medication refills, referral requests and documents needed to be filled out. When asked
I’ve been going to this facility for >5 years seeing Dr. ferreira and she is great. I am starting to notice a decline in response time. before, I would be able to speak to someone on the phone and the message will get relayed. Now it’s takes multiple days to receive a call back. Most of the time you will need to go in and even then you may receive a run around answer. When it comes to care and scheduled appointments they are on point. when it comes to needing paperwork, a sign off, or returned calls there will be a delay.
I am surprised at the comments! I have had Dr. Yamada for over 30 years and he is the most sincere doctor I have ever had. He is always up to date on my condition and offer current medical advice - especially preventive medicine. He's very good on referrals to specialists. He asks about my family and my activities and is always will to enter into a brief conversation about things on my mind (and his). I can't imagine going to any one else.
