Tim Hughes was easy to work with. He explained the whole job and gave a reasonable estimate. While he had hoped to retain the original lathe, it was in very poor shape so it was removed. The crew was great and a minimal amount of dust escaped into an adjoining room (I suspect it was due to my dog’s curiosity). Clean up went well and we had our house back in 2 days.
Tim and his crew member were wonderful. Came in and completed multiple small repairs within the house. Made sure that the correct repairs were completed for each area. Highly recommended!
THE TL;DR: If you have an old house and want to preserve its historic plaster character instead of switching over to drywall, Hughes Plastering is unmatched. They provide phenomenal craftsmanship and are genuinely kind and talented people. They completed our historic ceiling re-plastering under schedule, on budget, and completely stress-free.
