I am not happy with Hughes. I don't like being throttled every month. I pay well over a 130.00 a month for internet that other servers offer for less. As soon as my contract is up bye, bye Hughes. No more.
The best place to work. Check it out for yourself. And I believe that you will agree.
Hughesnet is one of the worst service providers in existence. Their consistency in finding ways to bleed you for money while having an inferior product is amazing. My hopes are that Starlink drives Hughesnet into bankruptcy. I highly suggest buying Starlink equipment and spending a few dollars a month more for dependable and fast service. In the end the headaches avoided are more than worth it!
When I signed up with HughesNet, they did not tell me about the 24 month contract. Not very happy about paying the $400 cancellation fee. I got the largest internet plan they had, and blew through it in about 2 weeks. The only other thing I could do to get even a hundred mbps (speed) was $50 tokens to get 50 GB of data. Meaning my monthly bill would have gone up by $350 if I stayed with them. Not a good way to do business. Do not recommend.
