Doc Hughes was my doctor for over 30 years in the Milwaukee area, all of my family and many friends as well. Over that time he was always there for us, he knew us by name (probably because I was a frequent flyer, lol). When he came into the patient room, there was always a smile on his face, he would pull up a chair and sit down and talk to me, primarily about my health, but always asked about my husband and kids. I am a new patient, he took his time with my Wife and I, very confident making him our regular Physician.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR HEALTH TO THIS DOCTOR OR HIS PRACTICE. The reasons are many and they keep deleting my reviews so you won't know. I have been trying since January to get prescriptions and a form filled out and forwarded. Horrible service from his assistant/nurse (Nyala?) and the D.O. himself. Run, run away from this man and his staff.
Tried everything several times. Does not allow a new sign up nor an old login. Of course, no help from the doctor's office. (See other review.)
I have been a patient of Dr. Lloyd Hughes for 28 years. He listens to me and understands my concerns. He is a compassionate and caring doctor. He doesn't order unnecessary tests and will not hesitate to refer you to a specialist when needed. I have recommended him to several people.
Dr. Hughes has a great bedside manner and makes me feel like a family member, not just another file. He helped me understand test results that weren't explained by another doctor. He understands my goals and concerns by actually listening to me. He answers my questions thoughtfully, promptly, and in a way I can understand without a medical degree. I am never as satisfied with a visit as I am when I see Dr. Hughes.
Bedside manner is excellent, treats you like family and shows genuine concern for his patients
