I called on a Wednesday and left two voicemails at 1:15 PM and 4:15 hoping to get insurance on an RV I just purchased. It is almost noon the next day and I still have not heard anything back. Every time I called previous ownership, under Hughes, a person answered and directed my call, not a machine. I have emailed and called this agency for three days in a row trying to get renters insurance and have received no response. I will NEVER go through this agency again! Update: finally heard back from this agency, basically telling me to go with another company… what a joke!! Being a customer for many years I would have NEVER gotten this treatment from Hughes Ins.!!!! I am so glad I went with Kinney Ins…. Being a small business owner, I NEVER give someone a poor rating unless they deserve it. Since the change from Hughes to Gallagher, the service is TERRIBLE. If you ask for things like, "I have a new car that I want to get insured," be prepared for them to NOT call you back. Email? Nope. I had a similar experience with them in trying to work through issues with my workers comp insurance over the summer. "We'll get back to you in two weeks" every time I called. I have left multiple voice messages and get no response. Definitely taking my business elsewhere. Might be an actual scam right here in Queensbury. Steer clear folks!
