I have a new 3 acre Orchard in the depths of Shropshire, After much investigations it appeared a well was the only option. If you want a well, use these guys, they are excellent, they were very understanding around the land, moving the huge equipment around 12 inch trees! Very good tidy up, and more importantly they understood the project, put in taps where they were needed and advised on generators etc. They didn't just dig a well, they understood the project.

The water supply to my property and that of my neighbours both stopped on Monday leading us to believe the borehole had run dry. After calling Hughes Drilling on Tuesday morning, Martin was on site by 11am to assess the situation and by 3pm, they were pulling the pump to carryout a drop test. The water was there and it was found to be the Pump that was the issue. They replaced the pump and had my water back by 5pm. Absolutely brilliant service and really nice people to deal with. Truly outstanding. Took on a challenging project, drilling deep boreholes for ground sourced heat on a steep, tightly constrained site. Through dogged persistence and creative water handling, they succeeded to drill the boreholes with no issues with neighbors in a conservation area and AONB.
