He's very condescending. He acts like he doesn't ever have time to hear your concerns. And once he's dealt with you he doesn't want further business. If my case wasn't urgent and I had half the legal knowledge I have now I would've went pro se. I could've had the same results. I tried very hard to see the bright side each time I met with him. However I just left more nervous and unsure after each visit.

Very disappointed and hurt by how I was treated. Mr. Hughes talked down on me frequently and never gave me a chance to speak. I did obtain him through the South Carolina legal services therefore I did not have to pay him however I feel that this made a great difference on how I was treated. It’s very hurtful to feel that the system is working against you but an even worse feeling when your lawyer does the same.
