Three years ago, Dr. Dennis performed cardiac surgery on me. He understood my current condition at that time, considered all the extraneous elements of my case, and included every option and what the future may hold with those options, unlike 'the quacks' at another local hospital. During the surgery, he used the forethought and performed additional procedures that are to my benefit! Had a CABG done. Went south during the night. Pain 10 of 10, bleeding badly from chest tubes. Poor perfusion, cardiac tamponade. Staff disrespectful all night, telling me that my pain wasn't what I claimed it to be. Was told MD notified. He finally makes rounds at 6 am. Claims not to have known I was in the shape I was in. Had me back in surgery by 6:30 to finally fix unsecured blood vessel that was critical replacement vessel with multiple units of blood ordered. Chest full of blood and clots. Lucky to be alive.
