Billing department is completely incompetent. It's Feb of 2026 and they are just now sending me a bill for services from 12/2022-5/2023.
I’m a patient at Tamworth Family Medicine and have visited many times and I’m greeted the same way every time, with professional care and welcoming hearts. Dr. Irwin is the best and the nurses are phenomenal, I wish I could remember their names. But I love the greeting I get from Carson at the front desk. Huggins hospital probably has some really good staff, unfortunately that was never my experience. Anytime I had to visit the E.R. i was treated less then. They completely took advantage of their power and tried suing me for over $15,000 dollars, even after clearly proving them wrong & appealing to Supreme Court. Only then was it dropped and taken care of. I look the other day on my credit score a “bad debt” from 2019 appears from Huggins hospital for $3,000. I’ll be disputing that as well. This hospital is a total joke- take the extra time to drive somewhere like Maine Medical or even as far as Boston- often times they dismiss major issues resulting in long term issues for the sake of getting people in and out of the door. I had an MRI and repeated multiple times that I was uncomfortable and wanted no blanket placed on me. Not only did they not listen to me and continued to attempt an IV when I repeatedly told them no they overrode my patient autonomy and my voice.
