Had been wanting to try Huey Magoo’s since they opened - just hadn’t had the opportunity. It was on the way home from the Dr’s so thought I’d try it. Wasn’t overly impressed. While the tenders were good, their size were disappointing, easily 30% smaller than the ones I had just gotten a week prior from Raisin’ Canes. The amount of fries as less also. Maybe I just happened to get the tail end of a batch but not sure it’s worth paying the same price as their competitors for less food.
A great stop for fresh, made-to-order chicken tenders. The chicken was juicy inside with a crisp, well-seasoned coating, and the sauces added a nice variety of flavors. Everything was served quickly and tasted consistent. The staff was polite and efficient, keeping things moving smoothly even during busy hours. A reliable choice when you’re in the mood for simple, well-executed comfort food
The staff was friendly and provided god customer service, but the food was disappointing. The chicken tenders and fries were overcooked, and everything tasted like the fryer grease needed to be changed. I hope they improve the food quality.
Best Chicken Tenders I have had! You will not be disappointed! Also the fries have a nice spice to them. We had the garlic Parm dipping sauce before with our Chicken Tenders and it was great! We Ordered it again through the drive throughin Goose-creek SC, but eek, we ended up with Italian dressing. Other than that the Wings are A-PLUS! 5 Stars for-sure!
