He's a nice, understanding, NON-helpful old man who said my case is "above" him and suggested I pay the $5000 cash deposit and go to Mayo Clinic. I told him I thought I had Wernicke's. I was discharged from the US Navy as an alcoholic. He also put incorrect information in his progress notes indicating I had certain testing done which had NOT been done. I feel he tried to poison me with other doctors..thank God I didn't allow the examination to proceed. I cut him short. Bad doctor--not a physician. Will complain to the TMB.
This was my first visit with Dr. John Hueter. He was very thorough and trustworthy. He's a great listener and will spend time with you so you can ask questions.
Immediately told me that he probably could not help me. I told him three times I could not take a medication and he still prescribed it to me. I told him my shoulder was most likely knocked out of socket, and he went to look at it and then pulled back like he was afraid to touch me. I got no exam and he told me I would probably have to go see a neurologist. And I said I thought that's what he was.
Took his time and explained everything.
