I find Dr. Huerta to be very direct and to the point. That is his personality. If you need to exercise he will tell you that you need to. I don’t find his directness a problem, but I can see where some people would be offended. He is a straight shooter but I find him to really care about his patients. Anytime I have a question about anything he always answers it. He certainly knows his job well.
Dr Huerta is kind, listens, and great bedside manner. I've been going to him for 4 years and am glad I can continue to go.
He deserves a 0. He is the worst doctor I have ever known. He is cold, sarcastic and he could care less about your health. The last appointment I had, he didn't even take the time to see me. He sent in the nurse to tell me he couldn't help me with my health concern. What doctor does that. Then he took the time to close out my prescription with the pharmacy. Dr Huerta is cold and he does not take time to listen. I saw him 3 times since the fourth time I went, he didn't even take the time to see me. The assistant came in the room to tell me that he wasn't going to see me. What doctor does that? He took the time to close out my prescription with the pharmacy so I could no longer get a refill from his prescription. What doctor does that? I am gathering all my information to file a formal complaint with my insurance company.

Lo mejor en médicos que me han visto , gracias a él estoy con vida, me detectó un infarto a tiempo y las acciones tanto como persona y profesional ayudaron que me llevaran a emergencia y fui tratado. Terrible staff. Doctor does not listen, wants you to make multiple appointments, because you can only give him one symptom per visit. Also, if you give him honest feedback about his staff - rather than addressing his staff, he fired you as a patient.
I saw this doctor for 20 years, since he was first starting out, and then he fired me as a client. His staff is terrible and ever-changing. Nice enough guy, I really liked him, but he FIRED ME. What kind of doctor does that?
Had two visits with Dr Huerta last year. Was very impressed with how straightforward and thorough he is! I really like him! Unfortunately, my insurance situation changed and he stopped accepting Medicare! Otherwise, he would be my permanent doctor!
Dr. Huerta is a kind compassionate Doctor. He takes time to hear you & listens to what you say. I would recommend him to everyone, it's hard to find a good Dr.
