AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE. I along with two others who were on the phone witnessed abuse by the staff on my Mother. We were on facetime with her having a nice visit. Suddenly, there was yelling and screaming and my Mother started whimpering, her phone was thrown and all we could see was the ceiling. We heard someone growl, "oh you think you can leave do you? Keep pushing me and see what happens!".. it got quiet and then I saw two eyes peer into the camera. I was in shock but I was able to speak very firmly and matter of fact. I demanded the phone be picked up and I was able to see two people, a man and a woman) I couldn't see my Mom or where she was. I asked for names (It was Clair and Roosevelt). I scorned them both for attacking my Mother and this whole scenario of man handling, yelling and screaming was down right abuse and I was calling corporate. Then this Roosevelt person, started yelling at me! He yelled at me my mother was a fall risk and they had to do this! I said, there is no excuse to handle patients in this manner EVER. I demanded my mother be put back on the phone but Claire said she was putting her in her "chair" (wheelchair) and keeping her by her side. Claire was speaking English and mixing in her native tongue while speaking to me which was very odd and unprofessional. My mother was terrified and scared of this place and the people working there and I know now why. I called my sisters to tell them what happened and I spoke to the manager, Ben and the Dr. who did not give his name. I demanded she be moved to the hospital. He said he would write up the orders. We called my Mom and it had been two hours later and she was sleeping in her chair in a hallway. Apparently Claire put her in a wheelchair and left her in the hallway alone. We have reported this issue to corporate and other third party agencies. They need an investigation at ALL LEVELS. The hospital sent her back saying nothing was wrong so we found a nursing home , the nursing home was going to pick her up but the "Dr." said she had a UTI and couldn't they were monitoring her. Nursing home said they can give her medicine and monitor and were on their way and suddenly the "Dr." said she now has COVID!!! She was hallucinating one minute and non responsive the next. For 17 days we tried to get her out of this place but they kept coming up with new things wrong with her and why she couldn't leave. We finally had to remove her Against Medical Advice. Once we got her home she didn't have any episodes of hallucinations nor did she become non-responsive. She didn't have any signs of covid either or a UTI. We conclude they were drugging her and making her sick. All of her doctors have done well checks since she got out and said she is perfectly fine. They are very concerned with what this place has been randomly diagnosing her with and have asked for more records. Hopefully, they can get the medical board involved or someone with the power to do something about what this place is doing to their patients.
