My husband and I love Dr. Brinkley and cant imagine switching primary care physicians. Even with my complicated medical issues, she usually seems to care and tries to help when she can.
Dr. Romo-Fritz has been my doctor for 12 years now. She is the best doctor Ive ever had! She truly cares for her patients and takes the time to listen to all their concerns and questions. You are never rushed during an appointment. Chris, her nurse, is fantastic! And Lisa, the receptionist, is as sweet as can be. The few times Dr. Romo-Fritz was booked when I needed to come in, I saw Dr. Brinkley. She is just as caring and thorough! I truly feel taken care of here.

Wouldnt recommend based on my experience. I found this doctor on my insurance plan. I called to schedule an appointment and was told that they could get me in during the month of APRIL! I told her that I am 8 weeks pregnant and sick. She repeated that she could get me in to their office in APRIL! BTW, she also told me that they do not accept my insurance anyway!

My family has been using Lakewood for 17 years. Dr. Brinkley and Dr. Romo-Fritz are wonderful. My husband even uses them and doesnt mind seeing female doctors. They have delightful personalities and you dont feel rushed in and out. They listen; they actually listen to you! The nurse Chris has been there forever as has the receptionist. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Brinkley, Dr. Romo-Fritz, Chris and the rest of the staff at Lakewood Family Physicians. My family has been taken care of by Lakewood Family Physicians for over 12 years. We never have a long wait in the lobby, they return our phone calls promptly, even if at 2:00 a.m. They know each member of my family by name. The doctors both have great bedside manners and are very caring. Most of there staff has been there the entire time we have. Two thumbs up for Lakewood Family Physicians.
Ive been going to Lakewood Family Physicians since they were located off of Mills Road. Dr. Huntington was my first doctor, but if she was too busy to see me, Dr. Brinkley was always the one I asked for. Now Dr. Brinkley is primary physician, and my whole family - including my hard-to-please husband - see her. We absolutely love her and her easy going bedside manner. If she ever moves away like Dr. Huntington did, well be so sad! Good doctors with good bedside manners are sooooo hard to find!
