A complete piece of shit vet. Took an injured dog there. Poor thing was suffering badly. For lots of bullshit reasons they let it suffer for hours. Took lots of crap to get possession of the dog to take to a caring vet. Go to this place if you wish. I for one wish they’d lose the right to practice. Complete assholes! Not an animal caring facility.
RecommendedPerfect 5! I was able to reach them right away. Very professional, kind and to find a vet on a Sunday is almost unheard of. So thankful to the sweet and kind staff!
Beth one of the workers is always helping me with anything I need help with. She has always been very polite. She does an awesome job.
My moms dog needed to be seen as soon as possible (he got a cough drop, not sure how) told her to go to AVS animal hospital. they told her to go to Hudspeth because their dr wouldnt be there for another 30 minutes and he needed to be seen quicker than that. She went to hudspeth and they also said their doctor wasnt in. They told her to got to Griffins...she tried calling them and they put her on hold twice and never came to the phone. MY RANT: My cat, Mr Nubbie, got injured. Don't know how. Looked up emergency vets and this is what I found: AVS Animal Hospital Presidential Dr. I walked in with my injured cat. The vet was standing there with 3 assistants in the front office. My cat meowing in pain. They looked at me and said " you need an appointment 😡😢 Called Brantley and Jordan, Riverside animal hosp., Hudspeth, Griffin, Plantation..NO ONE would even look at my baby.😢 By the way I googled " emergency vets" in Macon ... every one of these vets came up.... read more
DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO HUDSPETH IN MACON. My dog hurt his leg a few weeks ago and we knew something was wrong, we took him there bc it was on the weekend and our usual vet was closed but he needed attention. They did not X-ray it like I told them he needed. They told us it was just soft tissue trauma, gave us a few days worth of anti-inflammatory meds & sent us on our way. Great Place! They Treat My Fog Very Well
8-15-2020 I could not fathom that that would be the day, we would lose our dog Jake of 11 years. Walked in the house to find him in destress, took him to Hudspeth. Could not have ask for more caring and compassion for him, called first no wait nurse and Dr. handled everything. He had a cancerous tumor that ruptured that was not known to us, there was nothing that could be done. It’s a shame really because he was just at our regular vet for his checkup last month.
