Taking adult beginner swimming lessons at Hudson Valley Port Chester with instructor Lateef this summer has helped me improve the technique of my freestyle swim, as well as helped me work on my body position and posture, my arm stroke & my breathing technique. Lateef carries a very positive energy, not just to me, but to all his students, and is a motivating force in his group lessons. I look forward to learning from Lateef again Hudson Valley PoCho in the fall!
My swim instructor was Lateef. He was absolutely phenomenal! He does not just tell you what to do; he is extremely perceptive about the level you are at and the specific challenges you may be facing, and he addresses those specifically. He starts with very basic drills and exercises that gradually build up and integrate with each other to eventually allow you to actually swim. We’ve been going to Hudson valley swim in Portchester for about two months, coach Lateef is the best. He’s professional, patient, knowledgeable, kind and always has such a positive attitude. What stands out the most is his ability to recognize my daughter’s strengths and areas that needs improvement. He makes her feel comfortable in the water and I highly recommend him if you’re looking for some who’s passionate, caring and loves teaching.
We absolutely love our son’s swimming instructor, Lateef! Our son is only 3 years old and has been taking swimming lessons with him, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
